Blur a screenshot before you share it
Hide emails, names, card numbers and tokens with blur or pixelate. The saved file keeps no original pixels under them.

How to blur part of a screenshot
- Capture the page with PageScan: full page, an area or one element.
- In the editor, pick Blur or Pixelate.
- Drag a box over the private part. Repeat for each spot.
- Click Download or Copy. The blur is part of the image now.
Why "real" blur matters
Some tools save the blur as a layer on top of the image, for example inside a PDF or an editable file. Anyone can move that layer and read what is under it. Light blur on big text can also stay readable.
PageScan draws the blur into the pixels of the exported image. Under the blurred area there is nothing left to recover. For text, use pixelate with large blocks, and check the result before you send it.
Private by design. The screenshot never leaves your browser, so the private data is not uploaded anywhere, even before you blur it.
