How to take a full page screenshot in Firefox
Firefox has one of the best built-in screenshot tools. It captures the whole page in two clicks. Here is how, and what it cannot do.
The built-in Firefox screenshot
- Open the page. Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Mac: Cmd+Shift+S), or right-click an empty spot and choose Take Screenshot.
- Click Save full page in the top right corner.
- Click Download, or Copy to put the image on the clipboard.
You can also click Save visible for the current screen, or hover over a block of the page and click it to capture just that element.
Limits
- No editor: no arrows, text, blur or crop.
- Pages that scroll inside a panel (mail, docs, dashboards) are captured only as far as the panel shows.
- No PDF export.
PageScan does not run in Firefox yet. If you also use Chrome or Edge, it covers these cases there: whole panels, a full editor and PDF export.
