We do not hide, and the rules are yours
Trippi Cue helps you in calls you are part of. That is the whole design, and it draws a line we would rather state plainly than leave you to discover in the small print.
Where we stand
Four things, none of them marketing.
It does not hide
The window is a normal part of your browser page. We do not conceal the extension, we do not disguise what it is, and we promise nobody that it cannot be noticed — including in a shared tab, where everybody sees it.
We build nothing against proctoring
No detection avoidance, no screen-sharing tricks, no hidden mode waiting on a roadmap somewhere. Requests for those get the same answer as this page gives.
The rules are yours to read
Many interviews, exams and assessments say plainly that outside help is not allowed. Cue is outside help. Which rules apply to your call is something only you can know.
The answer is a suggestion
A language model writes it from the last minutes of the call. It can be confidently wrong, and it knows nothing about you beyond what was said and what you typed in the brief. Read it before you say it.
Uses nobody argues about
The cases this was built for.
Most of what people use Cue for is not a grey area at all. It is a conversation where you are at a disadvantage for a reason that has nothing to do with whether you can do the job.
Understanding a language you are weaker in
The interviewer’s line, in your language, while the conversation runs. Nobody is being deceived about your ability to do the job.
Catching a question you did not hear
Bad audio, a fast speaker, an accent you have not tuned to. The question in text is the same question.
Holding your own structure
A prompt to keep a story from wandering, or a case answer from starting with “there are many factors”. The content is still yours.

Why we say this out loud
The category Cue belongs to sells secrecy. Search for an interview copilot and half the results promise that nobody will ever know — and the people who buy on that promise are the people most likely to be let down by it, because no such promise can be kept by anybody.
We took the other side of that. Trippi Cue is a browser extension that answers the question you were asked; it does not conceal itself and it does not pretend to. If that makes it the wrong tool for the call you had in mind, better to know it here.
What we will not build
- Anything whose purpose is to keep the extension from being seen.
- Anything aimed at proctoring or exam-monitoring software.
- Any arrangement where somebody other than you answers in your place.
These are not features we have not got to yet. They are the ones we have decided against, and asking will not change the answer.
If you are running the interview
Tools like this exist, they are easy to get, and they are not going away. If your process depends on a candidate not having one, the process is measuring availability of tooling rather than ability — questions that follow up on the specifics of someone’s own experience survive this much better than trivia does.
If you would rather candidates did not use assistance, say so in the invitation. Most people follow a rule they were actually told.

Is using an interview copilot against the rules?+
Sometimes, and it depends entirely on the interview you are in. Many assessments forbid outside help of any kind; some conversations are simply a discussion where a prompt on screen is nobody’s business but yours. We cannot make that call for you, and we would be lying if we said the question does not exist.
Will the interviewer be able to tell?+
We make no promises in either direction. There is no bot in the call and nothing is announced, but the window is drawn in your browser page, so it is visible if you share that tab — and a long pause before a fluent paragraph is its own signal.
Do you support proctored exams or assessments?+
No. We build nothing to work around proctoring software, and an assessment that forbids outside help is not a use case we serve.
Can I use it in my own interviews, as the interviewer?+
Yes, and some people do — to catch questions from a panel or to follow a candidate speaking a language they know less well. The same honesty applies.
What about consent and recording?+
There is nothing recorded to consent to: no audio reaches our servers, no file is produced, and nothing joins your call. The recognised text and the answers are kept for 30 days so we can tell a poor answer from a poor question, and are then deleted.
Do you report anything to employers or platforms?+
No. We have no relationship with any hiring platform, we send nothing to anyone about your calls, and there is no integration that could.
