Live answers in a Teams Web interview
Teams is where corporate interviews land, and it is the platform with the most addresses: the web client lives at several of them and corporate networks add their own. Cue knows the common ones — but the desktop application stays out of reach, as it does for every extension.

Three steps, once.
Open Teams in the browser
An interview invitation usually arrives as a guest link. On the page it opens, take “Continue on this browser” rather than the desktop app — as a guest you do not need the app at all.
Allow the Teams site once
On your first call the extension asks for access to that Teams address. Granting it means Cue survives a page reload; declining it means clicking the icon again each time.
Click the icon during the call
The window opens on top of the meeting, and stays where you put it.

Teams labels a speaker once and then leaves a run of their lines unlabelled. Cue reads who is speaking from the call itself for that reason, so on a panel a question does not lose its author halfway through a monologue.

Independent of their tenant
Whatever AI features the company interviewing you has licensed or switched off, Cue is not part of that: it is an extension in your browser, with no admin consent to obtain.
No meeting bot, no consent prompt
Nothing joins the call and nothing announces itself to the room. There is no recording, so there is nothing to notify anyone about.
Works on the corporate address
Teams behind a Defender for Cloud Apps proxy is still recognised as Teams, which is more than most extensions manage.

The popup says there is nothing to read on this tab
The tab has not given the extension access yet. Click the extension icon directly on the meeting tab — a real click is what grants it.
The session did not come back after a reload
Without the one-time site access, Teams loses the extension on every page reload. Grant it once and it survives; the popup offers it on the meeting tab.
No sound is heard in a corporate Teams
The proxy address only gets the click-based permission, so start the session by clicking the icon after the call is running, not before.

Where the audio goes
From your browser straight to our speech-to-text provider over an encrypted connection. It does not pass through our servers, and it is never recorded. The recognised lines become one prompt for the model; that window and the answer are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

Which Teams addresses are supported?+
The three current web addresses — teams.microsoft.com, teams.live.com and teams.cloud.microsoft — plus corporate proxy addresses, which work on the click-only permission.
I am joining as an external guest. Does that change anything?+
No. A guest link opens the same web client, and Cue works there the way it does anywhere else — it needs nothing from the tenant running the call.
Do I need an IT administrator to approve anything?+
Not from the company interviewing you. If your own machine is managed and restricts extensions, that policy applies to Cue like to anything else.
Why does the desktop Teams not work?+
It is an application, not a page. Extensions can only reach browser tabs, so the web client is the supported path.
