Who writes here

Everything on this site and in this blog is written by Sergei Skrylkov, who builds Trippi Cue and its sister extension. There is no content team and no ghostwriter, which is the reason each article carries a date on which its claims were last checked against the product rather than a date on which it was published. When the product changes, the page changes; when neither happened, the date stays where it was.

Two extensions, one team

Trippi puts translated live captions over a whole meeting, for people sitting through a call in a language that is not theirs. Trippi Cue answers the question that was asked of you and translates the conversation underneath it. They are separate extensions with separate plans, built by the same hands, and they share a backend and a position: the work happens inside your browser tab, and nothing joins your call.

Why the writing is careful

This is a product people use in the most consequential half-hour of their year, in a category where several competitors promise that nobody will ever find out. We promise no such thing, and saying so plainly costs us traffic that we have decided not to take. The practical consequence for these pages is that limits are written down next to features: what the extension cannot hear, what it gets wrong, what your interviewer can still see, and whose rules apply in the room.

Corrections

If a page here is wrong — a stale price, a feature that no longer works the way it is described, a competitor fact that has moved — write and it gets fixed, with the check date moved to match. That is the whole review process, and pretending it is larger than that would be its own small dishonesty.
