Half the useful things in a meeting are typed, not said: the link to the doc, the ticket number, the “I will send it after”. Then the call ends, and the chat ends with it. Google Meet forgets it, Zoom keeps it only if someone set that up, Teams keeps it in a place guests cannot reach. Keeping the chat next to the transcript is planned.
What is planned
- Chat in the transcript. Messages appear in the transcript at the time they were sent, marked as chat, with the sender’s name.
- Links as a list. Every link shared in the chat, collected in one block in the summary and in the follow-up email.
- Same source as the names. Trippi Notes already reads the meeting page for speaker names; the chat is on the same page.

Copy the chat before the call ends and paste it into the meeting’s notes in Trippi Notes: the meeting page has a notes tab for exactly this. The transcript itself has everything that was said out loud, including “I put the link in the chat”.
