Meeting minutes

Ask a question about the meeting, get the answer with the quote

Trippi Notes team · facts checked on 2026-10-17

“What did we agree on the deadline?” is a question you ask three days later, when the meeting is a blur and the transcript is two thousand lines. Reading it is not the answer. Asking it is: the reply comes with the lines it is built from, and each line opens the moment in the transcript.

What you can ask

  • About this meeting. “What decisions were made?”, “what are the next steps?”, “what remains unresolved?”, “what did Anna say about the budget?”
  • About a period. Today, this week, last week, the last 7 or 30 days, all meetings, or your own dates. “What did we decide about hiring this month?”
  • About the meetings you pick. Up to twenty at once. “Across these four client calls, what did they ask about security?”

Follow-up questions in the same conversation read the same meetings, so you can dig in without re-selecting.

What the answer looks like

Q: What did we agree on the release date?
A: The release moves to 14 October. Priya proposed it after the QA estimate, Marcus agreed on condition that the client is told this week.
Priya 00:21:04 — “If we take the extra QA week, that puts us on the fourteenth.”
Marcus 00:21:30 — “Fine by me, as long as the client hears it before Friday.”

The quotes are the point. A summary can be wrong in a way you cannot see; a quote you can check in a second.

Templates and your own

Fourteen ready questions for one meeting (quick recap, decisions, action items, email to attendees, presentation outline…) and thirteen for a period (report for a manager, who promised what, what changed between meetings…). Any question can be saved as your own template. The prompts, with text.

Small things that matter

  • Ask next. Three suggested follow-up questions after each answer.
  • Answer language. Ask in your language about a meeting in another; the quotes stay in the original.
  • Save to notes. A good answer can be kept on the meeting page as a note.
  • Search other meetings too. One switch widens a question about this meeting to the rest of your journal.

How to start

  1. 1Open the call in Chrome. Google Meet, Zoom in the browser, or Teams in the browser.
  2. 2Click the Trippi Notes icon. It hears the meeting tab and your microphone and writes each line with the speaker’s name.
  3. 3Build the summary after the call. Pick a template, or let it guess from the meeting name, and read the result in your language.

Where the answers come from

From the transcripts in your journal, on our server, with the model named in the privacy policy. The answer is built only from your meetings; it does not search the web. Each answer counts toward the monthly questions on your plan.
