A weekly report from all your meetings, in one question

Trippi Notes team · facts checked on 2026-10-17

Friday afternoon, the status report is due, and the week was twelve meetings. You remember Tuesday. The report gets written from the last two days and a guess. If the meetings are in your journal, the report can come from them instead: pick the week, ask one question, read, fix, send.

Pick the period

This week, last week, the last 7 or 30 days, or your own dates. Or pick the meetings by hand: the four project meetings and not the all-hands. A follow-up question in the same conversation reads the same set.

Ask for the shape you need

  • Report for a manager. What moved, what is at risk, what needs a decision from above.
  • Project status. On track, at risk, blocked, next milestone.
  • What changed between meetings. Dates that moved, scope that grew, owners that changed.
  • Still unresolved. Questions that came up and never got an answer, with the meeting they came from.
  • Action item list. Everything promised this week, with owners and dates.

Thirteen period prompts are built in, and any of them can be rewritten and saved as yours.

What it looks like

Week of 13 October: project Atlas
Moved: the release date is now 14 October (agreed Tuesday, planning). The export feature passed QA (Thursday, stand-up).
At risk: legal review of the new terms has no owner since Dana left the thread (Wednesday, client call).
Needs your decision: the extra QA week costs one sprint of the mobile backlog (Tuesday).
4 meetings, 11 quotes

Every line has the meeting and the quote behind it, so when your manager asks “who said that?”, you have it.

Make it a habit

The report is a question, so it is the same question every week. Save it as a template with your wording (“for my manager, three sections, under 150 words”) and it takes a minute on Friday. The who promised what question is a good second one.

How to start

  1. 1Open the call in Chrome. Google Meet, Zoom in the browser, or Teams in the browser.
  2. 2Click the Trippi Notes icon. It hears the meeting tab and your microphone and writes each line with the speaker’s name.
  3. 3Build the summary after the call. Pick a template, or let it guess from the meeting name, and read the result in your language.

Where the report comes from

From the transcripts in your journal: meetings written from the browser on Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, kept on our server for as long as you choose. The report is written by the model named in our privacy policy, from your meetings only. Copy it as Markdown or plain text into your weekly update.

FAQ

Asked about this.

Can I include only some meetings?+

Yes. Pick up to twenty by hand, or a period.

Can it write in my manager’s language?+

Yes. Choose the answer language; the quotes stay in the original.

Does it include meetings I did not take notes in?+

No. Only meetings in your journal. A meeting without Trippi Notes is not there.

Can my team share one report?+

On team plans the team shares meetings, so a report can cover meetings other members had.
