Meeting notes to Confluence
Trippi Notes team · facts checked on 2026-10-17
Confluence is where the project’s meeting notes are supposed to live, and where they stop after the second week because writing them is a job. If the meeting is written as it happens, the Confluence page is a paste: decisions, tasks with owners, open questions, and the transcript for anyone who asks “who said that”.
Into Confluence, step by step
- 1Export as plain text or Markdown. Confluence’s editor turns pasted Markdown headings and lists into its own formatting in most cases; plain text is the safe fallback.
- 2Create the page from the Meeting notes template. Confluence has one; paste the summary into its sections, or replace the body.
- 3Tasks. Confluence turns “[ ]” into its own task boxes when you type them; or send tasks to Jira from Trippi Notes and link the issues.

Tips
- One page per meeting, one parent per project. The page title is the meeting name and date.
- Transcript under an expand. Keep it on the page, folded, so the decisions stay readable.
- Jira. Send the action items to Jira from Trippi Notes and paste the issue keys into the page. Meeting notes to Jira.
