Meeting notes to Slack
Trippi Notes team · facts checked on 2026-10-17
Not in Trippi Notes yet. On the roadmap.
The team that was not in the meeting reads about it in Slack, or not at all. A summary posted to the project channel after the call is the cheapest way to keep them in it. Trippi Notes does not post to Slack yet; it is planned. Today the plain-text export pastes into a Slack message well, and the read-only link does the rest.
What is planned
- Connect Slack, pick a channel per meeting series, and get the summary posted after the call: decisions, tasks with owners, open questions, and a link to the meeting page.
- By hand from the meeting page, or automatically after every meeting of that series.
- Never the transcript in the channel; a link instead.
What works today
- 1Export the summary as plain text. Markdown bullets become Slack bullets when pasted; headings do not, so plain text reads better.
- 2Post it with a link. Create the read-only link on the meeting page and add it to the message.
- 3Or email instead. The summary to attendees from Trippi Notes, in your name.
Where the notes come from
Trippi Notes writes the meeting live from your browser tab on Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, with speaker names, in 68 languages, and builds the summary by template after the call. The minutes generator.
