A currency note before anything else

Parakeet AI’s pricing page shows euros only — there is no dollar option on it. We are not going to convert the figures and present the result as a price, because an exchange rate on the day we wrote this is not what you will be charged. The euro numbers below are quoted exactly as the page shows them; compare them against our dollar figures with that in mind.

Parakeet goes further

Desktop apps for Windows and macOS, a browser web app, a mobile-optimised web version for iOS and Android, and native phone apps described as on the way. Its verified platform list runs Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Lark/Feishu, Amazon Chime, CoderPad and HackerRank.

Cue stops at three

Google Meet, Zoom on the web, Microsoft Teams on the web — and only in desktop Chrome or Chromium. No Webex, no Chime, no coding platforms, no phone, no tablet. That is a much shorter list and we would rather print it than round it up.

One thing worth noticing: Parakeet’s own page says Chrome is required for its live sessions. So even the broadest product on this hub ends up in the same browser Cue lives in, once the call actually starts.

Where Cue has an answer

The entry price$6 a month against €39.90 for Parakeet’s cheapest subscription, which does not include the live copilot at all.

Nothing to installCue is added from the Chrome Web Store and lives in the tab. Parakeet’s fullest experience is a desktop download.

Crossing a languageParakeet lists 50+ languages; Cue lists 68 and shows the interviewer’s line in your language while writing the answer in another. We found no claim of that second behaviour on Parakeet’s pages.

What does Parakeet cost in dollars?+

We do not know. Its pricing page showed euros only on 22 September 2026 and no dollar option, so any figure we printed would be our arithmetic rather than their price.

Parakeet covers Webex, Chime and HackerRank. Does Cue?+

No. Cue supports Google Meet, Zoom on the web and Teams on the web, and nothing else. If your interview is on another platform, Cue will not help.

Parakeet has a phone version. Does Cue?+

No, and it will not. Mobile browsers do not run extensions of this kind.

Both need Chrome for live sessions. What is the actual difference then?+

Parakeet also ships desktop and mobile builds, so Chrome is one of several routes for it and the only route for Cue. In exchange, Cue never asks you to install a program, and starts at $6.
