Brazilian and European Portuguese differ enough that a translation tuned for one reads stiffly to the other — in vocabulary, in how the second person is used, and in punctuation habits. Trippi targets Brazilian Portuguese, the variant almost all of this demand comes from.

Portuguese also expands against English, so overlay width matters. And false friends are unusually common on business calls: pretender, eventualmente, parentes all mean something else than they look like, which is another reason the recognised English line stays on screen.
